As teens Vanguard, Sync, Blur, Fury and the Zig Zag twins formed the superhero team Varsity Squad and together fought super powered villains and dangerous criminals across the country. Twenty years later the group reunites to open a time capsule they buried underneath their former headquarters. The heroes are forced to confront their pasts when they find the capsule missing. Someone in the group has something to hide and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the past stays buried.
